Two Hundred Years in Kingston
Lesson Reading
Mayflower Church has been preaching the gospel in Kingston, Massachusetts since 1828. That is almost two hundred years of ordinary Sundays. Two hundred years of baptisms, weddings, funerals, sermons, prayers, and people learning to follow Jesus together in one place.
We are a Reformed Baptist church that holds to the doctrines of grace, and we baptize believers, not infants, by immersion, after a person has trusted Christ. We are led by a plurality of elders, and the congregation governs itself under Christ. In early 2026 we affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention through the Baptist Convention of New England.
None of that is meant to be a wall. It is meant to be a clear account of what you are joining if you join. A church should tell you plainly who it is.
