Lesson Reading
You have just walked through the doctrine of Scripture. Seven attributes. Seven truths the Bible teaches about itself. All of them carry the authority of the God who spoke them.
Doctrine that does not shape practice is doctrine we have not really believed. If God's Word is God-breathed, we read it on our knees. If it is authoritative, we obey it. If it is without error, we trust it. If it is sufficient, we stop looking elsewhere. If it is clear, we read it with confidence. If it is necessary, we feed on it daily. If it is effective, we expect it to change us.
This is the foundation of the Pathmark series. The next course picks up from here and moves into the next area of Mayflower's life together. Watch for the email when it unlocks.
In the meantime, keep the Companion Guide near your Bible. Pray the prayer of the psalmist: "Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law" (Psalm 119:18). And do what you just committed to do.
The Word of our God will stand forever. Build your life on it.
