The Five Core Values at a Glance

Before you walk through them one more time, see them together.

Scripture. The Hexagon. We are a people shaped by the Word, reading, hearing, meditating, and obeying the Scriptures as our guiding light for all of life.

Missions. The Triangle. We live sent, moving outward in word and deed, making disciples and serving our neighbors and the nations in Christ's name.

Discipleship. The Pentagon. We grow together, learning Christ, being shaped by godly relationships, and multiplying mature disciples in every generation.

Worship. The Square. We exalt Christ, gathering in reverence and joy, giving God the glory due His name in all of life.

Fellowship. The Circle. We share life as a family in Christ, bearing one another's burdens, speaking truth in love, and pursuing the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

These are not five departments of the Christian life. They are five facets of one life. The same life. Yours, lived as a member of the body of Christ at Mayflower.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Read the five Core Values once more, slowly. Notice where the language lands on you. Notice where you flinch.

Where you flinch is often where the Lord is asking you to walk.
