Marking Your Salvation

The day you trusted Christ is the most important day of your life. It is worth remembering.

You may know the exact date. You may not. Some people can name the hour they turned to Christ. Others grew up in the faith and cannot point to a single moment, only to a settled trust that they cannot remember being without. Both are real. God draws people in different ways. What matters is not whether you can date it but whether you are trusting Christ now.

Still, it helps to mark it. In your Welcome to the Family booklet, page 4 gives you space to write down the day, the place, and the people who were there. If you have the booklet, fill that page in. If you do not, write it somewhere you will keep: the front of your Bible, a journal, a note on your phone. Record what you can: when you came to trust Christ, where you were, and who walked with you.

Why does this matter? Because doubts will come, and a recorded marker is a mercy. There will be days when you do not feel saved. On those days it helps to look back and say, "I remember. I turned to Christ, and He received me." You are not standing on a feeling. You are standing on what God did.

The one who comes to me I will never cast out. (John 6:37)
